| This large City park has seen a good portion of recent rehabilitation. Its parallel tree-lined promenades stretch through the Lower East Side to Chinatown starting at the southern-most edge of the East Village. It has a number of basketball courts, a new hockey field and several playgrounds, as well as the large M'finda Klunga Community Garden at Forsyth & Stanton.
